Open Fiber ultra-wideband

Open Fiber ultra-wideband

Open Fiber is a company created by Enel and Cdp Equity partnership and it’s realising a ultra-wideband network open to every interested telecom operator. Soon they will be able to guarantee their users a 1GBPS browsing speed.
A FTTH (Fiber-to-the-home) Open Fiber connection needs small wires to be installed in building units, but it doesn’t create any electromagnetic field thanks to the passive optical network.
In Matera Open Fiber means innovation, future-proof technology and environment and cultural heritage friendliness. Matera, starting from the digital village Magnet in Ex Ospedale San Rocco, is going to be super-connected!
